Hi Gert,

I think Torbjörn's proposal is very good. Especially Dan Sandin would
be a superior member in the advisory board!

Please, find in the following two proposals for the board. They are
both experts in audio in VR.

- Prof. Perry Cook, Associate Professor, Princeton University Dept. of
Computer Science, with joint (affiliated) appointment in Princeton
Music Department. Director, Princeton Computer Science Industrial
Affiliate's Program. Research interests include, e.g., physics-based
sound synthesis models, physics of random and real-world sound
sources, applications in audio synthesis and analysis, auditory
display, sound for immersive environments. More information on his
web-page: http://www.cs.princeton.edu/~prc/. In addition, Perry is a
regular visitor at SIGGRAPH, he has both published papers and
organized courses in SIGGRAPH.

- PhD Durand Begault, NASA Ames Research Center, Human Factors
Research and Technology Division, The Advanced Displays and Spatial
Perceptions Laboratory. Dr. Begault is internationally
known for his work in the field of virtual acoustic '3-D audio'
systems and displays. He has been associated with NASA Ames Research
Center since 1988. Dr. Begault's research activities include
development and evaluation of new audio and multi-modal technologies
for aeronautic and space applications. These technologies involve
psychophysical evaluation of spatial hearing, speech intelligibility,
and performance in virtual environment systems; room acoustic analysis
and simulation; and improvement of communications and warning systems.

Regards,
	Lauri
