[Soc-2010-dev] status report (fancy input devices)

this week --

Got SpaceNavigator working in the 3D view. Turntable mode is finished, and
button 1 fits the view to the selection. It takes maybe a minute to get
comfortable with two-handed operation: SpaceNav + pen/mouse.

Got tablet data to ride with cursor/button events from beginning to end.
Didn't notice a visual change while using gpencil. Since I expected some
improvement, there's more work ahead.


final week --

Verify and fix tablet data routing for Macintosh, implement same for Windows
and Linux.

Update TabletData struct to reflect tool capabilities. Does it have
pressure? Tilt?

Add SpaceNav-driven turntable or fly mode to 3D view. Both if time allows!

Write "how to program" docs. Save "how to use" docs for integration time.
