You have probably thought about this already, but you can go two ways: advertise products available in the store on the front page and do A/B testing to see which are most appropriate, or have a support us link somewhere that leads to a donation page. I guess the former comes across as "less needy" and would probably be better.<br>
<br></div><div><b>Search</b>. I reckon it'll be difficult to have a search facility that covers the network, the wiki, the devblog etc, but that'll be useful for me if I want to find something and have no idea where to look.<br>
<br></div><div><b>Suzanne</b>. Where is she? She's a mascot and such a mascot needs to have their own special easter egg hidden away on the site somewhere.<br></div><div><br></div><b>Concerning Markup</b>: did you ever thing about creating shortcodes? so you can slap in [one-third] [/one-third] for example to help with layout and [icon-blender] for markup?<br>

or be analysing page statistics and adjusting the site based on say, 6

- a nice page template building/configuration system<br>

- a more effective way to handle the actual markup for a page in the<br>
TinyMCE (at the moment the system works better in code/text view) -<br>
Valery Tkachenko started working on this<br>
- icons (Anderson Mancini started helping out, he will share some of<br>
his work soon)<br>
- artwork (will write a separate email about this)<br>
- page migration support. I got in touch with a few people already and<br>
gave them access to the website, but not much has happened yet. If you<br>
want to help out and you did not get access to the website please<br>
write again, mentioning the area you would like to work on and you'll<br>
get an account immediately<br>

What we don't need:<br>
<br>
- a long discussion about redesigning the whole website, start a<br>
separate thread eventually :)<br>
<br>
<br>
If enough people step up during the week we can bring the website a<br>
big step forward and preview it at SIGGRAPH, which would be great!<br>
