Lets look at the functionality behind the icon:<br>
* it fills in or locks the number to be used software threads by the
number of (given) hardware threads.<br>

To bad a lock is also used :) I didn't quite get the label printer etc.<br>

More a functional question, when do you want to change this
functionality:<br>
a. I think most of the time you don't use this. In a weird situation
where you only want to use like a part of your hardware computer power
to be used during rendering this is something you can tweak with.<br>
<br>
isn't the question, do you want an icon (eye-catcher) for this, or
should we find another location to trigger the function? I propose to
place it in the "Menu--> Render --> ..." But what do the users
really think of this.<br>
