Hi guys, just a few notes (all at once, rather than one at a time)
When writing this book these are some of the things I have noticed. I am
not sure of the priorities or ease of implementation of these, most are
just naming consistencies.
9)When saving a .jpeg and .tiff the file extensions tif and jpg are the
only ones accepted (but tiff and JPEG are written in full)
11) The F button for Fake user should remain depressed if it is set as
ON (being a toggle button function).
12) some areas use colour sliders, other areas use colour picker pop-ups
(ambient colour area in world settings....)
13) Tilt for paths is not accessible with a text input box in any
expected places (edit buttons or [N] menu) meaning that the tilt value
for a given point cannot be discovered easily (can it anywhere?).
14) Dupliframes, Dupliverts, DupliFaces.... why are they single words?
there were a few other names like this that are joined
15) Draw mode and Draw type menus have different naming for the visual
names. I.E. one says "Solid", the other says "OpenGL Solid" for the same
draw type/mode
16) Interpolation mode menu is titled "IPO TYPE" when accessed by
pressing T in the IPO editor window.
If any of these don't make sense, please feel free to ask me for
clarification, they were my personal notes so may not be coherent to others.
Cheers
Doug
