[Bf-funboard] game controller as input device

Has anyone attempted to rig up a game controller as their input device?  Do 
any of the other graphic packages allow you to use a game controller as your 
input?

This seems like it would have a number of nice benefits - especially if you 
can controll things such as rotation and movement using both analog sticks.
