[Bf-funboard] Improving UV mapping

I agree that UV is good, but needs some work to be easier to use.

Theeth wrote a script a while back that would export UV mapping as an
image file. Perhaps this would be a good starting (or ending) point for
exporting UV for texture painting. It could go in the 'scripts in menus'
area, also to be able to call it from the UV window would be cool too.=20

One thing that has bugged me about UV (and perhaps its not an issue, but
simply me not knowing blender as well as I should) but when you have
assigned UV, and then decide to unassign the UV from an image, when you
go to shaded mode it draws your mesh in this horrible hot-pink. There is
no way to get it back to the way it was before you assigned UV. Now I'm
sure someone will respond with 'just press 'insert hotkey here'' and
that will solve my issue, but I have yet to see the answer.=20
