I don't fully understand your mail, but isn't this like...uhm...wrong?
if I'm in the far left, bottom corner, how the heck would the upper right
corner be the closest?
I don't know...maybe I'm trusting this pythgoras guy too much...or maybe
(probably) I have no idea what you're talking about.

you did get me thinking though, the most efficient way of positioning a
toolbar would be to calculate wich edge of the screen is closest, and
automatically move it around! :D
so if I'm in the left half of the screen, it would be on the left edge, if
I'm on the right....etc

interesting concept, wich I'm sure, no other program has :D

Also of interest: The five single pixels which can be reached fastest are
the four corner-pixels
and the pixel the mouse-cursor is currently pointing to (provided it is not
one of the four).

Now it could be a idea to put special menus on any of the screen corners.
