[Bf-funboard] the situation with textboxes...

Thanks... I wasn't aware of that...
So, to clear a textbox of text, you need to leftclick (to select the
textbox), then hold shift while pressing backspace... (assuming that you
know of that method)
In Windows, it is more flexible and shorter (the need to press backspace is
eliminated)
a) double-click on active or inactive textboxes then use backspace, delete
or just type
b) click and drag on active or inactive textboxes then use backspace, delete
or just type

The only advantage I can see with Blender's method is that you can press
escape to abort - and return the textbox to its old value. But that
functionality could be added to Windows-style textboxes. (Currently you need
to press ctrl-Z to undo changes to Windows textboxes)
