My biggest problem with the arrow is that it's pointing down...
indicating that something should appear beneath it.  Check out my
original response to the parent of this thread.  Keeping the arrow isn't
a problem... making sure it points in a direction that makes sense is.
If we can't do that, then the arrow isn't the solution.
