Hi,
At first I tried holding the mouse over the number to the left of the
slidebar and pressing "n", and nothing happened... then I thought I'd try
holding it over the slidebar itself and pressing "n"... still nothing... so
then I pressed "n" over the top of the slider names, like you said... and I
was able to adjust the slider min and max... though it would need to be done
manually for every single slider I guess if I wanted the sliders to go
from -1 (inverse) to 1, or 0 to 2...
So if the sliders are visible, the "n" should work when the mouse is
hovering over the sliders or slider numbers. Maybe the slider ranges for RVK
should be set on a per object or global basis rather than once for each
slider, since it would be tedious normally and it would be confusing if the
ranges of the sliders had different values.
BTW, I couldn't find any other places where you can use "n" to adjust the
ranges of sliders in blender.... also, when I was playing around with the
action window I figured out how to do RVK animations. I had done RVK
tutorials but that didn't sink in before. I don't remember the tutorial
telling me about the action window... the icon for the action window
suggests it is related to posing armatures - at least that's all I thought
it was used for. I think with William Reynish's method, I would have learnt
RVK's a lot sooner. And when the (suggested) sliders are adjusted in the IPO
window, keyframes could automatically be created or modified at the current
animation place (the green vertical line) is... like when you adjust the RVK
sliders in the action window.
