	Yes, this would be a nice feature. Also, what is the reason why
Blender seems to run rather slowly on higher resolutions on Mac OS X? I can
run Final Cut Pro at over 1600 x 1200, but I have to reduce to 1024x768 for
Blender.

I would like to have the full-screen mode in the Mac version. The way  
fullscrenn  is done in the Windows version seems reasonable.
