[Bf-funboard] Python API addition idea

I'm new to the funboard, so I'm not sure if I mention this here, point
me somewhere else if that is the case...

My idea is an API idea.

For object types that are non-mesh (nurbs,curves,metas) could there be a
call in the API that returns a virtual read-only "mesh" copy of the
object. The idea is that you could then export those objects as meshes,
but within blender you could maintain their curveness or metaness. The
same holds true for duplis, you could have an asMesh() call and get your
dupli's as a single mesh, but retain the ability to manipulate your
duplis as duplis.

I figure it could use the convert to mesh codebase that is already in
blender, it would just need to store the result in memory and expose it
to the python mesh class.
