Ton and members of the community,

My oppinions: Ideas that I personally feel are important to consider 
regardless of documentation issues or implimentation difficulties.


-INTRODUCTION-

First, we can simply address these major changes to the reader in a DETAILED 
introduction located on the front page of whereveer the tutorials decide to 
live in the future ( ie. "READ FIRST!" ) in order to prevent the older 
documentation from becoming obsolete or difficult to follow.


-BUTTONS WINDOW-


----BUTTONS----

Matt Ebbs's "pop up" menu idea for the buttons window is extrodinary. I even 
like it better than my own idea (the tabs). The interface should'nt really 
CHANGE as much as it should be streamlined. Matt's idea used in conjunction 
with the automatic buttons switching upon object selection (implimented in 
2.28) would not hinder the experienced user and current documentation as 
much as it would improve productivity in the long run. 

----COLLAPSING----

Another one from Matt, the abilti to collapse information that you are not 
using....need I say anything more on this. Again, not very hard to tell the 
reader that all of the information that is discussed in XXX tutorial is 
still there, it is just collapsed...simply click on the little arrow and it 
will all be there...or in the case of sampling you must first enable OSA 
before being able to adjust the number of samples...why in the hell would 
you want to see it if you are not using it? Get it out of the users face! 

----COLORS----

The colors of the interface are a little more important than alot of people 
think and fortunatley for all of you this is the last time that this artist 
is going to say it....MAKE EVERYTHING GREYSCALE!! If you have to change it 
to color on cursor over but as for now it looks like a bag of skittles blew 
up on my screen!!! I do not want to "taste the rainbow" while trying to 
concentrate on the 3D Window during the modeling phase. (There is a reason 
XSI looks the way it does if you have even noticed its interface in the 
first place hint hint!!) 

-THEME COLOR-

This is a little off of track but while I am on the subject of color, I 
thought that I might bring this up. I like the fact that you can identify 
certain companies with certain colors and/or logos...i.e. Aliaswavefront 
uses the red and black, hell...I even like the circus theme that they have 
been going with for the last couple of years! Orange, grey, black, and white 
(see attached file for suggestion) like you had going during NAN....AND 
STICK WITH THIS! First off it looked great, and secondly, we need to 
consistently indentify with the public visualy for reasons discussed above. 
Blender has been doing extrodinary things for a very long time and if it 
were not for it's name and symbol having remained the same, we probably 
wouldnt even be having this discussion! Again, this isnt really relevant to 
the funtionality and documentation of Blender as it is advertising but it IS 
imperative that we make this step some time in the near future.
