Hello Ton, hello everyone!<div><br></div><div>I am working on the Blender user certification model.</div><div><br></div><div>Actually we have made an extensive analysis of the certification process based in another software certifications (Microsoft, Autodesk, Adobe and Newtek), and we structured the model based on Latinux Linux and MySQL Certifications.</div>
<div><br></div><div>By now, we focus on the blender 3d generalist certification. Once this certification is ready, we plan to use that model as basis for develop the specialist certifications. </div><div><br></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span">Mi goal is to have an official </span>the blender 3d generalist certification<span class="Apple-style-span"> by the end of the year or beginning of 2012 as far, because there are universities around the world teaching blender courses right now, and it would be ideal they can integrate certifications to their program of study.</span></div>
<div><br></div><div>To get there, we plan the next steps:</div><div><br></div><div>1) Develop de proposal of the model (we almost finish this! :D )</div><div>2) Discuss on the Blender education list the proposal to get a functional first model (plan for this week)</div>
<div>3) Implement the model </div><div><br></div><div>There is a lot of topics we would like to discuss on the list as first step.</div><div><br></div><div>I like to help to organize the blender user certifications with the people interested on the topic on the list.</div>

on education... like meet in IRC.<br>
