Just a note about certifications; the true value of that lies in a<br>
verifiable and reliable authority that gives it out. Sofar the educator<br>
certifications haven't done too bad really... but it has many loose<br>
ends still (active support by BF especially :).<br>
<br>
There's been talks about developer certification too, something I<br>
rather not burn my energy with now. Standardized artist certification<br>
will be a nightmare even...<br>
<br>
As a producer myself, I would honestly *never* hire someone based on<br>
certifications, but strictly and only look at the actual achievements,<br>
portfolio and work experience.<br>
<br>
And if an artist presents diplomas or certifications, any sane employer<br>
will first check on the school or institute that has provided it. Just<br>
build yourself an excellent name with good training, there's the added<br>
value students will seek for.<br>
