<div class="moz-cite-prefix">Hi Narayan !<br>
<br>
Yes, I saw your question about sandbox... I'm not an expert of
wikimedia, but here is what I did:<br>
_ <b>type the address</b> of the page you want to create,
directly in your browser's address bar, but with "Meta:Sandbox"
before the page's path<br>
(<b>e.g.</b> <i><a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/">http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/</a><b>Meta:Sandbox</b>/Page_path/Page_name</i>)<br>
_ <b>press enter</b> to go to this inexistent page<br>
_ if you're logged in, you'll find a link labeled "<b>create this
page</b>". You also have the button "Create" at the top-right.<br>
_ <b>write the page</b> as if it was a real one.<br>
<br>
For more convenience, I created the "summary" page so we can see
the new structure clearly, but as you noticed, this page won't be
used finally. It was just a way to navigate quickly between the
pages during the write process, and to have a global view of all
those pages.<br>
You may also note that <span id="result_box" class="short_text"
lang="en"><span class="hps">I</span> <span class="hps">have not
named</span> <span class="hps">the sandbox pages correctly</span></span>,
because I left the "/Doc:2.6" in it, while it is into sandbox.
It's not a problem, but it can be a bit confusing.<br>
<br>
Once all is OK and ready to be online in the wiki (a.k.a. at the
final address), I think you'll just have to copy / paste the
page's content into the final one (by creating it the same way you
created the sandbox), then delete the sandbox one. Anyway, as I'm
not a "sysop" of this wiki, I can't delete pages... Are you ?
(even if, as far as I know, nothing is really deleted in a
wikimedia site, only hidden).<br>
<br>
About the "tree view" (in the left column), I don't know how <span
id="result_box" class="short_text" lang="en"><span class="hps">it</span>
<span class="hps">appeared...Maybe someone with "sysops" rights
have created it, or maybe it's an automated process, but it
(magically) appeared </span></span>one day... And I don't
know how to modify it.<br>
<br>
Hope this helps, and thank you for the <span id="result_box"
class="short_text" lang="en"><span class="hps alt-edited">helping
out on the VSE chapter!<br>
Cheers,<br>

<div>Hi Polo!<br>

</div>
No probs- I will edit the pages in the next two weeks, so
that you can see them when you are free.<br>
</div>
BTW I haven't used a sandbox, and have posted a question at
docboard about that. <br>
</div>
(This is not mentioned in the wiki writers' guide at all.)<br>
<div><br>
Can you help me with that?<br>
