<body class='hmmessage'><div dir='ltr'>Hi everyone,<br>I have just completed a second personal, quick-and-dirty investigation into the current state of the wiki, to assess what progress has been made since my first check in October 2012.<br> <br>Again I would emphasize that this is NOT a full review of the pages. I have simply scanned (not read) all manual pages; looked at the notes at the top of the page, and classified the page as “OK” (0, green), “Not Sure” (1, amber), or “Needs Update” (2, Red). Note in particular that "0" does not guarantee the page is correct, complete and up-to-date; it means that there's something there which, at a glance, looks reasonable. In addition, I have this time also checked the History page for each document to see whether the page has been updated since October 2012- this is a separate “Updated” column in the spreadsheet.<br> <br>RESULTS<br>There has been a lot of progress since the last review. Over 250 of the 600 pages have been updated since Oct 2012 - and at least 30 people have contributed to this effort. During the 4 months, there are 59 more “OK” pages, and a reduction of 45 in the “Needs Update” or “Not Sure” pages. (NB The difference is due to restructuring and/or new pages).<BR> <br>Full results are shown in the attached** Microsoft Excel97 spreadsheet file (TasksJT08112012.xls). The total results are shown in the “Summary” spreadsheet. The graphs in the “ChapterGraphs” spreadsheet show how these are distributed between the 21 Chapters. These are generated from the “ChapterTotals” spreadsheet which is collated from the “FileList” data. A "Contributors" spreadsheet is added (apologies if you should appear, but don't - this was a late addendum at Kesten's suggestion). I hope other contributors won't mind if I particularly mention the work of Jaredr who has put in a HUGE amount of effort. <br> <br>There is still lots to do, but I think it is great to see such good progress.
