how did you count wiki pages? was that the number of september 2012, 
which you used to compare with their respective current versions?

currently just the english TOC manual has more than 640 wiki links... 
(just a few "doubles", too :-( )

in the meanwhile, for other purposes, I did an automated analysis of the 
wiki manual pages translations...

I compared the 20+ translated wiki manual TOCs for their "manual" links 
to the base, english one.

EN pages: 644 - english TOC has 644 "manual" links.

here is the report for all existent translation of - at least - the TOC.
- missing, means how many *identical* links are missing compared to the 
base english TOC
- different, means how many links hat TOC has which ar *not* in the base 
english TOC
- convergence (%) gives an indication of how much the translated manual 
TOC is "compatible" with the base english TOC
this is calculated as (EN pages - XX missing)/ EN pages
- divergence (%)gives an indication of how much the translated manual 
TOC is "not compatible" with the base english TOC
this is calculated as (XX different/XX missing)

Assuming that all links point to complete and well translated pages, the 
best translation seems to be japanese one.
I will look for ways to have a deeper and better comparison (suggestions 
welcome).

of course maintaining a translation of such a beast of a wiki is tough, 
but I feel that there is also not a great knowledge of the guidelines 
(http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/Meta:Guides/Translation_Guide) if 
there are pages like:

(and subpagers, and there are more in the greek translation :-D)
