I've read the comments - I see what you mean.
I would much prefer a more democratic, transparent method of listing
tutorials.
The idea of certain people being handed rights to editing
Blender.org's CMS isn't appealing at all.

I stumbled over getmediacore.com the other day.  Its an oss
python/mysql-based cms, with video support.  It supports stuff like
voting videos from other sites ( ie Youtube, Vimeo, whatever ) out of
the box.

This might be a nice way of users voting certain Blender tutorial videos.
