I've been looking at the users guide and doing some reading around.
The users guide (compressed version) is 8 times larger than blender
install (not unexpected). A lot of uses on elysiun refer to the fact
that they still stuck with dail up. What I'm currantly doing is up
dating the users guides first section Introduction, instalation and
Gus. I'm also taking new screen shots of the new interface and making
one or to minor ajustments, such as in the section of building gus's
body. Figure 4.8. The sequence of Box selecting a group of vertices,
dosn't warn new users about the change in 2.37 that vetices undernieth
are no long atomaticly selected.

The Aim is to publish it PDF (i think that it's the most widely
supported format, could be wrong), in an A5 layout, that can easly be
published to a hard copy if the user wished. is all goes well it
should be small enouph to down load and uses and your personal PC with
no challenge, even over dail up. It shoul also be simple enouph to
print at home and bind with staple in the middle if you don't want to
spend the extra cash.

I don't think the wiki's public yet but i will add the modifications
as soon as posible.
The Chapter on blenders history,
http://download.blender.org/documentation/htmlI/ch01s02.html, goes as
far as 2.32's release. Idon't know the other realease dates, does any
one know wer i can find them (year and moth seems sufficant).

I hope to have a trial version out by the week end.

any comment suggestion, please feel free to make (even if you think
its a waste oof time)

thnks
