Hi all,

My name is Pep Ribal. I'm from Barcelona (Spain). I'm writing to you to let you know I'm interested in helping you with documentation translation. In my case I can translate from English to Spanish. In addition, I can translate to Catalan as well: both Catalan and Spanish are mother tongues for me. I've been living for a couple of years in London, so my English level is, I reckon, quite good.

I have no experience in documentation development, but I reckon I can write quite well: I've written a few articles in some magazines (mostly concerned with computers and cinema).

I have some experience in developing freeware applications related to flight simulation, mostly in Visual Basic 6. However I've developed in other languages as well: I'm a computer engineer.

I've studied photography and filmmaking as well.

I've long been using 3D packages: 3D studio (old DOS versions 3 and 4), Cinema 4D (versions 5 and 7), and just a little bit of Maya 6. I'm quite a newbie in Blender, but I'm getting it quite quickly, and this is the package I'll use for sure in my future TV projects: basicly I'm an enthusiast of freeware software, and definitely Blender is THE GNU 3D application: I'm feeling very enthusiastic about this software, and that's why I feel I have to get involved in this lovely project, if I'm needed.

So, just it: I'm offering my free time to translate whatever needed (application and/or documentation). If you think I may be useful to you, just let me know, and I'll join.

Thanks a lot to all the developers and contributors! Best,

Pep Ribal.
