I confirm the problem!
 
ALL RUN OK .. but NOT with subdir "BlenderManual2.32/PartAT/particles" !
If I update all, the process stop when encounter this dir.

If I update EACH subdir (but NOT ....../particles) the updating is ok!

i cannot find any problem on the CVS, do you still cannot update?
 
What about the new AO stuff?
 
Are you aware that the CVS server have changed protocols?
