[Bf-docboard] Who's in charge? What's going on?

Hi

Could someone please explain what's going on with the documentation? After the
first few days of enthusiasticaly learning the Blender basics I'm rather
frustrated now because of the lack of information regarding pretty much
everything. Including the documentation project.

So who is writing on the documentation? Who edits it? Where do those people meet?
Is there a working version? Where can I find up-to-date information about how
everything works?

Blender is labeled Open Source, and in my understanding that would include Open
Development. But everything seems to happen behind locked doors.

Although this list seems really dead I hope someone reads it anyway.
