I didn't create a diff file, so my working copy of CVS is no help to me now.
Perhaps if you do a diff between you're working copy and the version in CVS?

on a 56K :( ), and I've been looking through. So far
I've only made notes of corrections, but not edited
anything in the CVS tree. Sorry to ask *again*, but
how do I get my changes made? (I delete all my > month
old mails to save space)

edit the files
"cvs diff -o changes.diff"
email changes.diff to someone
but what's our diff command (any specific flags?), and
who do I mail the diff to?

commit changes to the CVS, for security reasons :)

That's why there is a diff command! You mail differences
or new stuff and these three buccaneers will handle those.

Hi, please keep me informed when translation project begin.
- I try to add Manual to those apps that don't have yet (Sodipodi ...)
- 3D is quite difficult and language can be another problem for some people. I
think that having a french translation could help some french users. I'd like
to work on it.
At this time, I'm translating docs (found on the blender website) related to
new features of 2.30. I'm sure this will be available next week.

blender.org in my "News" tab collection that I open once a day and I'm
subscribed to bf-docboard (bf-committers too, but that's currently
switched off for me (did I set that?)) and that's it - and I did not do
much more than talking you into using DocBook (o; . But at least it
seems to have worked out well, I'm quite grateful for that fact.
I'll wait a litte time before accepting your offer, since I want to see
how well the copies sell first (the more you sell, the less it should
hurt you sending me one for free, I think). I would buy two copies
right now if I had the money... (;
But thanks a lot for the offer.

Does the manual need more help proofreading?
In the example images at the e-shop, I can already see a bunch of
grammar errors, for example,
"This sequence, which let you select a group of vertices..."

"Since version 2.3 blender has a Mesh Undo feature. pressing UKEY in
EditMode makes Blender Undo last mesh..."

and the DocBoard PDF is now >750 pages.
The guys doing DTP are doing their best in squeezing it into
the available 560 :o pages. I'll talk to Ton to see if we can include it...
but I cannot promise... sorry... How long is it?

B@rt handled me the whole Art Festival submissions,
so your airman_12_ammocan.jpg is already int the
group. I will mail you (and the others) formal
request later this week.
The other two images are very interesting from
an artist's concept point of view, expression etc.
So, if the 16 pages allow I might include the
expressions too, unless you want to send me something different.
The guys doing DTP will have final word on how many
of the selected images will be printed. All of the selected
will be in the accompanying CD, of course ;)

It is 150-200 lines of text depending on the resolution of your monitor wit=
h half a dozen pics or so. It sounds like you guys are in the very final=
stages of getting the manual together. After reading your email about h=
ow tight for space the manual already is it might be best to leave out my=
portion for this version. There is alwas Adding things at the last sec=
ond is how mistakes happen and I sure don't want to be the cause of a big=
goof. :)
