Ok, I'm around 50%, maybe.

Got a question on Equations.

If I use equations the standard DocBook way I have to prepare PNG images
of them. THey render great on PDF, they are abominable on HTML.

THis because I must do them BIG to have a decent printing resolution,
and, while in PDF the dpi is correct, and a 600x300 equation
takes 2"x1" in HTML it takes 600x300, which is too much.

Furthermore the 'scale' attribute for images works only
in PDF and NOT in HTML translation.

There is the 

Mathematical Markup Language  
Mathematical Markup Language (MathML) Version 2.0

out there, but I'm not sure we NEED to insert it too, unless some other
of you is going to add equations.
