</style></head><body style=""><div>Support vertex groups is a essential feature imho, especially since blender only supports a single override Material per renderlayer (please please change that for 2.8!!).</div>
<div>I use the "create vertexcolors from vertexgroups" workaround, but it is tedious and the result is inpredictable due to Blenders half-broken color management (vertex color rgb(.1) has some other value in the node tree...).</div>
<div>So +1k for the support of vertex groups!</div>
