<div class="moz-cite-prefix">Hi Marco,<br>
we will update OSL to 1.6 at some point, don't know the exact date
though. <br>
<br>
Nevertheless, this will not enable the meta data features you
mention. OSL has them for quite some time already, but we do not
support this yet. <br>

Best regards,<br>

<div>Dear blender developer,<br>
</div>
I am a blender cycles user. Open shading language is a
great feature for cycles render-er (Customizing parameters
and algorithm). I tried to put OSL shading workflow to my
working pipeline. After I compare OSL specification 1.6 .
1.6 have a widget function that increase <span
id="result_box" class="" lang="en"><span class="">convenience
when people who use my shader.Let me give you an
example:<br>
<br>
</span></span>float Ks = 0.5<br>
[[ string help = "Specular closure weight", <- Create a
note<br>
string page = "Specular", <br>
float UImin = 0, float UImax = 1]], <- Make real and
"physical" clamp value.<br>
<br>
</div>
and also the check box function. Those feature helps a lot
when people using OSL system.<br>
<br>
</div>
Yours faithfully<br>
