the "blocking" is part of a new security concept we have for
Blender in general. You can just enable script execution in the
User Preferences, and add a "Download" folder or so to the
excluded paths, this way you should still be safe. <br>

I am not sure if adding a new UI Element for this case is really
nescecarry.<br>
