Currently, caustics are part of the diffuse indirect path. make sure "No Caustics" in the "Light Paths" panel is *disabled*.<br>

The reason why a lot of people fake them, is because Cycles (as a
path tracer) is not really suited for those and it takes a long
time to clear them up. <br>
