Collapsing it solves this. I'm not sure I like the idea of nodes being collapsed upon adding, though. What if there was something else, like, when you drag a node to move it, it auto collapses while you drag it, then reverts to whatever state it was in when you let go of the mouse button? Or maybe a keyboard shortcut for that kind of behavior. I'm sure there's probably already a keyboard shortcut for collapsing the nodes, which would make all this discussion not relevant to my workflow. :)</div><div><br></div><div>Regarding tree navigation, wouldn't an ideal solution be a small thumbnail node view? Photoshop and Nuke have similar things that work great.
