Sorry, (other peoples replys not the one below)<br><br>I thought Microsoft was offering to open up/move towards opening up some of their formats that are effecting open source applications.<br><br>WMV seems to be the only format which effects Blender, therefore my original comments apply. Is this not the information that Microsoft wants to hear.<br><br>I never once thought this was a "request for WMV support" its a "request for MS to help open source support WMV".<br><br>Let MS do the work. Don't just jump on the MS bashing wagon and tell them we don't want them to do the work.<br><br>Doug<br>

To all the people that have been complaining, come on, Microsoft<br>
can't force us to do anything. They are offering to help out,<br>
were still in control of how blender changes and what contributions we<br>
merge into the code base. The more developers we have the better it<br>
is for everyone, it doesn't matter where these developers work etc...<br>
