Hi,

I just noticed this one today. Looks like quite useful functionality! But I'd advise not to re-use that existing icon like this. There's too much of this icon re-use already (like the cursed 'dot') which isn't good for usability. The 'eye' icon has a specific meaning already, and shouldn't be diluted to mean something else. This feature could be communicated a lot better with an icon that's more descriptive of what the feature does, off the top of my head it could be something like perhaps an ipo curve with a line through it, or a dotted/dashed/greyed ipo curve, or some other metaphor that means 'stop movement'.

By all means if you need a placeholder, then you've got to use something, but please make a new #define and space for a new icon in the icon file, and just temporarily copy the old icon there, *and* actively make a call for help creating the new icon. There's a whole community of artists out there who would love to help, and can do it on their own if there's a new #define and space made.
