[Bf-committers] Revisions for 2.77

[Campbell Barton]

Seems we should have included fixes for T47670 (002deb2, 6bfd88a),
since these are regressions (check T47670).

With so many commits to go over we skipped some that weren't clearly
marked as regressions.
Reminder for devs to include term `regression` in commit log.
