Hi, here are the notes from today's meeting in irc.freenode.net <http://irc.freenode.net/> #blendercoders.

1) Upcoming release
 - Release is looking good, just a few regressions: https://developer.blender.org/maniphest/project/38/query/ftTBxTMHJVo7/#R
 - Tentatively good for release next week on Tuesday or Wednesday; need confirmation from Sergey / Campbell

2) Current projects for Blender 2.78+
 - Alembic integration may be explored further for 2.78, kevindietrich is testing
 - VR authoring and rendering is progressing nicely, should have something release-ready by end of the month
 - Cycles OpenVDB integration is being refactored, possibly ready for 2.78
 - Release Notes still need some updating, LAST CALL

3) Other Projects
 - UI meeting being held after main meetings. Minutes will be posted to bf-interface mailing list.
 - New meeting schedule: no objections were raised to the new thrice monthly meeting schedule; will continue this way
 -- blendercoders.xyz is working now! One thing that should be added is UTC time, helping to coordinate timezones beyond your own
