[Bf-committers] [idea] how to glue VSE and NE

Hi,
I've been thinking about this as well, to have a better integration of
NE and VSE. I would actually like to turn it around and have the NE as
main editor with an addition to do the timing stuff. Effects are more
easily done in the NE at the moment and I don't really see a good reason
to have both editors provide the same functionality redundantly. I'm
still trying to come up with a good idea of how to properly do the
timing in an addition to the NE from a user interface point of view.
