What about de-collapsing a node while connecting ?
What I mean is :
nodeA (uncollapse) , nodeB (collapse)
- click on output nodeA to connect to a nodeB socket
- drag over nodeB
- nodeB gets uncollapse
- I release on the socket I want
- nodeB gets back to collapse mode

??
