[Bf-committers] About WeightVGroup Modifier

Hi everybody :)

I wanted to know if my WeightVGroup modifier 
(http://projects.blender.org/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=26108 , 
and builds on GA: http://graphicall.org/mont29 ) had some chances to get 
in trunk before 2.58? If so, the better the sooner, imo…

The idea is basically to provide some sort of procedural 
setting/animation of vgroups, which was quite a lack until now… It is 
obviously not covering all possibilities (as stated by ZanQdo, it is 
impossible with current modifier stack, anyway), but I think that it 
might be at least a good intermediary solution, waiting for the power of 
nodal modifiers…

I’m pretty confident about the code quality, I’ve already had hundreds 
of downloads on GA (both linux and windows), without any bug report… 
And, even if I know every coder says the same, I had a few messages 
asking when it’d be in trunk ;)
