If we set SVN to ignore whitespace differences, then the source files 
will become a mix of Unix CR and Windows CR.  Isn't it possible to have 
svn run a command (or script) on the submitted files after they are 
submitted?   We could have it run dos2unix on all submitted source files 
so that they are consistent in svn.
