this is definitely something i have been wanting for some time now but its still missing something as it is right now that is the fact that the button does nothing if you try to use a curve modifier on a mesh to make things like this http://img188.imageshack.us/img188/1691/curve2.jpg without those ugly twists as you can see in the knot there.
anyway great work on this so far :D
