Hi Campbell,
This seems to break the material preview render when using UV as map
input (in the sense that you can't see the mapping, mainly the sphere
and suzanne). The models in preview.blend are unwrapped, but maybe
they don't have some extra mesh data to denote their uv layers as
renderable? Is it better to fix this in the preview.blend? Or in the
code, if a UV layer exists, and there are none explicitly marked as
default-renderable, just use it anyway.
