Hi,

At the studio almost everybody uses Blender in a window because you can 
read what file are using in the window's header which is very useful. 
Myself at the contrary, use all the time a fullscreen Blender, but I'm 
the only one so... I guess a windowed default is indeed more popular 
(bah ! ignorant newbies ! :)) ).
