Sorry, didn't/wouldn't know if its depgraph related and missed that in the
tracker.

I cannot compile myself, so using Gabio's window builds from Blender.org.

In this version (bf-blender / Windows (2005/05/20)) the bug is still
present. Don't know if the commit you are refering to is after that date.
