I just put the FreeBSD version, (Python 2.3 and game engine)
at http://lambermont.dyndns.org/blender-2.40-freebsd-5.4-i386.tar.gz as
I can no longer log into xserve to put it there.

I'll have to commit some patches still but have to go now (try that
later).

Game engine works nicely btw ;-)
