[Bf-committers] Set chain - updated patch

Hi all,

I have updated my setchain patch from May this year (finally). It can be
found at the todo tracker:

In short, this patch allows you to chain sets (a set can be assigned in
the Output panel). This allows you to create quickly many variations of
sets without having to do copies (either linked or full), giving another
degree of freedom.

I would appreciate testing and feedback (esp. if it works correctly with
the newer features).
