[Bf-committers] Status of release

Hi,

I've been too busy with all kinds of diversions the past days... and in  
the meantime commits stream in!

As agreed on last sunday, yesterday was last day for committing  
remainder work. So now it's time for final testing with the current cvs  
status... today and evening I have time for that as well, plus will  
upgrade the regression files now (really!).

If all of the platform managers feel OK, we can compile releases  
starting tomorrow. Wait for me committing the splash and version  
number, and will mail an AHOY here then!
